About Us

Arjons Angus is family owned and operated by Jon and Arlene Lagerquist with continuous help from our son Jon Jr. and his wife Michelle. Our Youngest son Jason and his wife Ashley reside in Wisconsin where he owns and operates Finishing Touches Restoration LLC (granite and marble restoration Company).

We have been in the cattle business for 21 years with a focus on Registered Angus since 2000 when we purchased our first registered Angus bull (a Hoff northlander son). That same year we also purchased our first Registered Angus cow (an A.I. bred Woodhill farms girl) and continued to grow and improve our registered herd with A.I. breeding and purchases from local ranches. In 2009 we made our first purchase from Peterson Angus (home of PA Powertool and PA Safeguard) since then we have purchased several more girls from there including our Donor Cows. What a difference that has made for us and our herd. With pride we sell animals that are eye-appealing, have good genetics and ONLY those that we ourselves would use.

These days we are feeling blessed to live in some of the prettiest country in the United States, our herd is growing, our genetics continue to improve, and we have been pleased with our A.I. breeding. We are also pleased with how our embryo transfer program is working. Our private treaty sales continue to bring repeat buyers which we consider the BIGGEST compliment of all.
